How it works

One standard. Graded centrally. Sealed while you wait.

  1. Step 1

    Check in

Bring your cards to the NYC flagship. Staff log each card into custody with a unique ID before it leaves your sight.

  2. Step 2

    Multi-angle imaging

An imaging station captures front, back, and raking-light passes. That evidence is what gets graded — not a store opinion.

  3. Step 3

    Central decision, local slab

Evidence goes to one central grading standard. Approved cards are sealed in-store and leave with a public certificate.

After grading

Keep it, sell it back, or list it.

Certified cards live in your account. Buyback offers and a peer marketplace are planned as later phases of this prototype.

Buyback

Coming in a later phase

Request an offer on a certified card. Offers above a threshold go to a store manager before they reach you.

Marketplace

Coming in a later phase

List a certified card for other collectors. Ownership transfers with the certificate record.

Transparency

What we will — and won't — claim.

Stores never set grades

Store staff capture evidence and seal holders. They cannot create or edit a grade.

Uncertain cases go to people

Low-confidence findings and high declared values route to a corporate expert before any slab is made.

Versioned standards

Each certificate records the grading standard and model version that produced it.

This is a prototype. Automated grading here is a deterministic simulation; no AI system is presented as capable of definitive authentication.

Expansion

NYC first. More cities when the model is proven.
